Antenna works just fine!

I wrote before that we cancelled our cable TV. We were paying $95 a month for not much to watch.

My hubby ordered an antenna and installed it. He is no "handy man" for sure, but he managed to install it and connected to our 2 TVs.

Voilą! We are now watching all kinds of channels and the antenna catches some TV stations in Bay Area which is about 100 miles away.

We were like... what were we paying thousands of dollars for???

    Until I moved to the mountains, we always used an antenna to watch tv. I wish we could do that again.

    Waaaaah. That's what i'd like to do but if you go to antennaweb.com or a site similar, it's a little confusing and i'm afraid of getting the wrong type of antenna. And they say that an roof mounted antenna is still the best, something i don't want to do becus of the lightening storms we get around here.

    That is really cool... I had heard that they were making it mandatory to have cable TV, or something like that (which I didn't understand), so it is nice to see that an antenna can offer some insurance that it can lead to decent reception these days. Cheaper and reliable? Excellent.
