My turn for feeling pain

August 16th, 2007 at 01:40 am

I'm back from the dentist. My face is so numb.

It hurts my wallet, too. $605.50. Ouch!

My dental insurance paid $672.50, but they only cover half of crown work.

My classes will start in Sep. and need to buy textbooks, too. That's approx. $350.

How easy it is to spend $1,000! And, so hard to save....

Don't even mention the dentist, I have an appointment tomorrow and am thinking "ouch" already ready

Where are you buying your textbooks? I've had luck on ebay with international editions. Same exact book only in softcover and brand new! The book is $30 and shipping runs $20-$30. The total cost is literally half of what a used book would cost at the college bookstore! And NO TAX!

I buy books from the college bookstore because I get reimbursement for them from my employee when I complete the course. So, actually, I really don't care how much they cost at the end. I will get nice reimbursement in January. I just have pay for them myself first. I guess I should not complain......
